Paula Cristina Pereira

Paula Cristina Pereira é professora do Departamento de Filosofia da Faculdade de Letras da Universidade do Porto, onde leciona Antropologia Filosófica na licenciatura, além de outras unidades curriculares no mestrado e doutoramento em Filosofia. Tem colaborado, como professora convidada, com várias universidades estrangeiras (Espanha, França, Grécia, Brasil, Moçambique, Angola). É diretora do Mestrado em Ensino de Filosofia, e membro fundador do Gabinete de Filosofia da Educação (GFE) do Instituto de Filosofia (UI&D/502/FCT) da FLUP. Integra a Direção do mesmo Instituto (unidade de investigação classificada com excelente pela FCT), onde é Investigadora Responsável do Grupo de Investigação Philosophy and Public Space. É autora e coordenadora de seis livros e tem diversas publicações em revistas e obras coletivas nacionais e estrangeiras.

Maria João Couto

Assistant Professor at the Department of Philosophy at the Faculty of Arts and Humanities of the University of Porto. She currently teaches subjects in the area of Ethics at the Degree of Philosophy and is the scientific responsible for the Seminar of Ethics and Political Philosophy I at the Master’s Degree of Philosophy. She is also the Director of the Master’s Course in Teaching Philosophy in Secondary Education and member of the Executive Committee of the Department of Philosophy at the Faculty of Arts and Humanities of the University of Porto. She is also a researcher of the research group Philosophy and Public Space of the Institute of Philosophy of the University of Porto (R&D 502, Via Panorâmica, Porto). Among her latest publications are "Comunicação: o impróprio da filosofia?" [Communication: The Inappropriate Philosophy?] in Filosofia: Revista da FLUP, Vol. 32, p. 113-126, 2015; "Hospitalidade e subjetividade: Identidades tecidas na contingência" [Hospitality and subjectivity: Identities woven in contingency] in Cadernos de Pedagogia Social, Special No., pp. 17-24, 2015.
